Eye-Catching Pink Harley Softail-Powered Custom Chopper Unveiled

Prism Supply, a prominent name in the aftermarket parts industry, has a rich backstory that may not be familiar to all. Founded in 2012 by brothers Jake and Zach Hindes, who hail from the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina, the company originated in a humble home garage. From its inception, Prism has been synonymous with fully-fledged custom projects, reflecting the Hindes brothers' passion and ingenuity.

Over the years, Prism has expanded from its modest beginnings, evolving into a team of eight individuals and relocating to a larger facility. Renowned for their innovative creations, particularly bobbers and raked-out choppers, the Hindes brothers and their team specialize in customizing Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

One of their recent projects, showcased here, pushes the boundaries of customization with its distinctive pink color scheme. Beyond the eye-catching paintwork, the client requested a blend of classic aesthetics and modern technology. Despite its vintage-inspired appearance, the motorcycle is powered by a 1,340cc Evolution V-twin engine salvaged from a 1995 Harley-Davidson Softail.

While the engine may be from the mid-nineties, the overall design pays homage to the chopper styles of the 1960s. With only the engine and oil tank originating from the Softail, the rest of the bike features custom-made or aftermarket components. Notably, the motorcycle boasts a twin-downtube hardtail frame sourced from Paughco, seamlessly complementing the Evo motor.

The frame, paired with springer forks from V-Twin Manufacturing, forms the foundation for the striking design. Additional features include aftermarket rims, retro-style tires, and custom fog lights repurposed as headlamps. The unconventional design extends to the handlebar setup, with a hand-operated front brake and a foot pedal for the clutch.

Despite its unconventional features, such as the hand-operated gear shift and unique seating arrangement, the motorcycle exudes craftsmanship and attention to detail. The premium leather upholstery and modified oil tank further enhance its appeal, while the LED taillight adds a modern touch.

However, it's the pastel pink color scheme that truly sets this custom chopper apart. Contrasted with chrome accents and subtle flame graphics, the color choice adds a touch of whimsy to the classic design. In essence, this custom creation from Prism exemplifies the blend of tradition and innovation that defines the aftermarket parts industry.
