A custom Harley V4 has been constructed, but it defies expectations.

Each year, Mecum Auctions hosts numerous vehicle sales, but the highlight for motorcycle enthusiasts is undoubtedly the Las Vegas auction held in January. Featuring a wide array of vintage, antique, and custom motorcycles, there's always something to captivate fans. Even seasoned attendees are often surprised by new discoveries.

Consider, for instance, a unique custom creation designed specifically for Harley V-Twin enthusiasts. This extraordinary chopper boasts not one but two Evo V-Twin engines, showcasing a belief in double the power. Identified by the serial numbers BKLX941710 and BKLX941902, these twin engines propel this elongated machine.

Interestingly, Mecum categorizes this bike simply as a "2005 Special Construction Custom," providing minimal details. However, a startup and short ride video accompanying the listing confirm its operational status.

Notably, the bike's large size suggests a wide turning radius, evident in the video footage. While specifics like wheelbase are absent, it's evident that agility isn't its primary feature. Scheduled for auction on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the South Point Hotel and Casino, this unique creation promises to draw attention among over 2,000 motorcycles set to cross the stage during the 2024 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction.

Prospective buyers should note Mecum's convention of labeling custom bikes as "[Year] Special Construction," possibly followed by additional descriptors. Among the offerings this year are a 2007 Special Construction Chopper, a 2000 Special Construction Custom Chopper, a 2017 Special Construction Captain America Replica, and a 2023 Special Construction Softail.
