Milwaukee (May 2, 2023) – Harley-Davidson pays homage to muscle car culture and its rich racing legacy with the launch of Fast Johnnie, the latest addition to the 2023 Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection. These limited-run bikes boast factory-direct custom paint and graphic treatments, featuring a distinctive Celestial Blue hue adorned with white racing stripes. The Fast Johnnie paint scheme is exclusively available on three 2023 Harley-Davidson models: the Low Rider ST, Street Glide ST, and Road Glide ST motorcycles, with a global production cap of 2000 units per model.
The Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection models are a tribute to Harley-Davidson riders and draw inspiration from their stories and legacies. The Fast Johnnie paint scheme takes cues from iconic design themes of high-performance muscle cars and pony cars of the 1960s and 1970s, showcasing contrasting "racing" or "rally" striping over a bold base color, accompanied by a clever or symbolic character or logo in the graphics package. The Fast Johnnie character, inspired by the story of a piglet named Johnnie adopted by Harley-Davidson racer Ray Weishaar, appears on the left side of the fuel tank and also graces the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle factory team motorcycles raced in the MotoAmerica King of the Baggers series.
Brad Richards, Harley-Davidson Vice President of Design and Creative Director, emphasized the visual impact of the striping graphic effect, stating, “The Celestial Blue base color selected for Fast Johnnie recalls a popular tone from the muscle car era. For the graphic striping, we created a custom white color formulated to authentically reflect the era, executed in a classic thin-wide-thin pattern on the sides and top of the motorcycle bodywork. The look is a nod to pure Americana.”
The special styling features include "Harley-Davidson" script replacing one of the thin stripe elements on the tank and front fender, with striping applied to various parts of the motorcycle bodywork depending on the model. Each bike in the collection is adorned with the Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection logo on the rear fender.
Low Rider ST Fast Johnnie Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection
The Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST model, featuring the Fast Johnnie paint scheme, is an American V-Twin sport-touring bike designed for riders who appreciate clean-and-lean West Coast style combined with the powerful Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin powertrain. Maintaining the mechanical features of the 2023 Low Rider ST model, it appeals to riders seeking pure Harley-Davidson attitude.

Projecting more menace than ever, the sleek Road Glide ST model backs up its appearance with the street-scorching power of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain. With West Coast styling elements and black-and-bronze finishes, it sets itself apart in the performance bagger category. Retaining legendary comfort and the distinctive "sharknose" fixed fairing, the Road Glide ST is mechanically identical to the 2023 Road Glide ST model.
Both the Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST models in the Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection feature color-matched Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts & Accessories, including King Tour-Pak luggage carrier, Chopped Tour-Pak luggage carrier, and saddlebag speaker lids. Ontario riders will be among the first to experience the Fast Johnnie collection, with authorized Harley-Davidson dealer showrooms in the province showcasing these limited-edition bikes.
