Harley-Davidson is reintroducing its factory tours, a first since the pandemic began in 2020. The new guided tours of the Powertrain Operations factory will commence on Monday, August 5.
The “Walk the Line” tour offers an immersive experience on the factory floor, where Harley-Davidson engines and transmissions are crafted. Participants will witness the entire process of engine building, testing, and inspection before the engines are dispatched to vehicle assembly.
In addition to the tour, Harley-Davidson will provide a hands-on class called “Engines 101” as an optional add-on. This class gives attendees an in-depth look at the construction and functionality of a powertrain.
Tour-goers will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive limited-edition Harley-Davidson merchandise.
The walking tour spans 60 to 90 minutes and is currently available on Mondays and Thursdays. Private tours can be booked on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
For safety, Harley-Davidson supplies guests with safety goggles, ear protection, and vests. Attendees are required to wear close-toed walking shoes, with no heels exceeding one inch in height.
